Our Story
The Humane Society of Lincoln County was incorporated in 1985 by people distressed over the conditions at the local animal pound and concerned about the needs of orphaned, neglected and abused animals in the city and county. At that time the Society took over the operation of the aninal shelter and the investigaion of animal cruelty cases. This is work which we continue to do.
The facility located at 1718 Pulaski Highway was purchased by the city and the county and houses both the Animal Control and the Humane Society.
Animal Control and Investigation
